→ Roamler Raises €20M in Funding – Review


Roamler, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of an on-demand workforce platform, raised €20m in funding.

Backers included Endeit Capital, SmartFin and Achmea Innovation Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations in the Netherlands and its business reach internationally, first in Germany.

Founded in 2011, Roamler provides businesses with B2B crowdsourced solutions for on-demand professionals and individuals. These “Roamlers” are recruited, trained, and organized according to their skills, experience, and location, and then matched to tasks.

The company operates Roamler Tech, Roamler Retail for crowd-supported field-marketing activities, performing tasks for the biggest FMCG manufacturers, consumer brands, PCGs, and retail chains, and Roamler Care, for professional caregivers.

Clients include Unilever, P&G and Red Bull, among others.
