Time Doctor was recommended to me by a large company I know. I’ve been using it to track my virtual assistants since 2016 and I can’t fault it. We track tasks and time and I can easily see what I need to pay them with the payroll report every month.
I remember when I first started using TD to track my staff, their productivity miraculously went up 🙂
Some people like being able to see screenshots of their staff’s screen and others don’t and believe it’s too much of an intrusion. This can easily be enabled or disabled to your liking. I have them enabled and I’ve only really checked them once when it was necessary. A new staff had been logging extra overtime hours without extra productivity. After this had been happening a while I checked the screenshots and they revealed he was logging time while using facebook and watching world cup soccer. In this case Time Doctor made it easy to immediately fire him. Since then I have a great team and I never check screenshots, but they’re there if I need them.
My staff are used to using TD and find it easy to use. They know it’s mostly there to track their time worked, as they are full time but I pay them per hour worked.
Even better now that Time Doctor have an integration with ClickUp, my guys can easily track time to specific tasks they’re working on.
