[GUIDE] Alberta reports 325 new COVID-19 cases and expands vaccine rollout – Best price

Alberta reported 325 new COVID-19 cases Friday, and also announced when it will offer vaccines to seniors over 75 living in the community.

Any Albertan born in 1946 or earlier will be eligible to book an immunization appointment with Alberta Health Services starting on February 24, 2021.

Another eight people died of the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing Alberta’s death toll to 1,812.

The positivity rate sank down to 3.6% on Friday, suggesting a brief rise earlier in the week could be an anomaly due to the Family Day long weekend.

There are currently 325 people in hospital, including 55 in the ICU.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw asked Albertans via Twitter to continue making good choices over the weekend. Her next live update will be on Monday, February 22.
