[GUIDE] City Of Shoreline Publishes Coronavirus Update – Promo

January 11, 2021

On January 5, Governor Inslee announced the new « Healthy Washington — Roadmap to Recovery, » a COVID-19 phased recovery plan. Beginning on January 11, the state will follow a regional recovery approach with every region beginning in Phase 1. The Recovery Plan allows for an easing of some restrictions on outdoor recreation during Phase 1.

Beginning Monday, January 11, the following recreation facilities will reopen in Shoreline:

  • Playgrounds
  • Community garden sheds
  • Shoreline tennis/pickleball courts for drop-in use only (no tournaments)
  • Fields will be limited to intra-team practices and training. Scrimmage against other teams or practices with other teams is not allowed – Permit required (no games or tournaments)

However, state guidelines still require masks and social distancing at all facilities, this includes players and athletes even while practicing. If users refuse to follow mask and social distancing requirements, the City may need to close facilities again.

We also want to remind everyone that masks are required in all our parks when social distancing requirements can’t be met.

Wear Your Mask – Keep Your Distance – Wash Your Hands
