The City of West Hollywood is responding to community needs and is providing regular updates during the coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency. The City is taking extensive steps to support the community during this unprecedented time. The City continues its COVID-19 free webinar series with an informational presentation for community members.

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 1 p.m. the City will present a Residential and Commercial Eviction Moratorium Update webinar. The City of West Hollywood City Council recently passed an extension to the Residential and Commercial Eviction Moratorium, extending the expiration date from July 31, 2020 to September 30, 2020. This updated moratorium prohibits evictions for nonpayment of rent resulting from a financial impact due to COVID-19 and includes updated language to address the current crisis. This 60-minute webinar towards will provide information for both tenants and landlords regarding the City’s temporary moratorium, as well as highlight available resources.
